This is a story about a little boy and his first day of school. Here's to all the mum's out there sending their babies to big school! Update: HUH ...

November 10, 2015 // THE FORBIDDEN CITY, BEIJING: Couldn't have asked for a better travel companion on our recent trip to Hong Kong / Beijing. Riley braved the crowds at The Forbidden City, conquered The Great Wall and learned some Mandarin along the way. { PROJECT RILEY: Documenting the milestones and precious moments of one little man }

I am really lucky to have some incredibly talented friends and Kate Hamer is no exception! Kate recently took the leap from a full-time gig at a big law firm to starting her own practice specialising in brand and IP protection. Her business is called Ethikate and she is absolutely ROCKING it. We've been working together the past couple of months to plot world domination and create a unique brand that will give her a competitive edge. The logo is looking fabulous and her website is almost ready for launch, but one thing she lacked was good quality head shots. And iPhone selfies just ain't gonna cut it!...

August 9, 2014 // GINGER TURTLE: Riley insists it is "Ginger" Turtles, not "Ninja" Turtles, and he wants to be the orange Ginger Turtle. Kinda ironic really given his red hair ....

Thank You Mum, Mothers Day Mums are pretty awesome. They are an inspiration with one of the most important jobs in world and sometimes it takes becoming a mum to really appreciate how wonderful they are. With out them, we wouldn’t be here. They nurture us, selflessly devote countless hours to ensure we are happy and healthy, support us through bad times and nurse us when we are sick. They open their hearts to children in need of a loving home through fostering and adoption. They nurture children with disabilities, autism and childhood diseases such as cancer. They sometimes even give the gift of a kidney so we may live long healthy lives. They also raise our future leaders and encourage us to be all we can be. Mums really are amazing, each in their own unique way. So to all the wonderful Mums out there, we thank you.

I have just arrived back from an amazing four days in New Zealand on a creative photography workshop with award winning photographers, Jackie Ranken and Mike Langford. The trip was the prize for 2013 Canon Photo5 - a unique photography competition which challenges entrants with five briefs designed to inspire creative imagery. You can see my winning "Jelly/Light" Brief entry here. I was also fortunate to have been part of the 2013 Photo5 trip to Uluru! Queenstown and the surrounding region is absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to go back and explore other areas of this beautiful country. And I must confess to getting a little excited when we visited movie locations from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Narnia and The Wolverine.
